I pay about half that to insure both my bikes. Time for you to do some shopping, man. I went with Progressive and got a fair size discount for being an AMA member, more than the yearly membership fee. Dairyland does lots of advertising but was a lot higher priced.
Maybe it's more expensive for OLD guys like you. I wouldn't know about such things. ;-)
